Introduction & Purpose
Anxiety around college acceptance and career readiness is at an all-time high for high school juniors and seniors. According to the American Psychological Association, 83% of Gen Z teens identify school and college admissions as a significant source of stress. More than one in three teens report experiencing symptoms of anxiety on a regular basis.
In response, Embrace Her Legacy proposes a transformational advisory program tailored for high-schools in the New York City and tri-state area, the EHL Academy: College & Career Readiness Advisory Program is designed to address these challenges head-on by building self-worth, reducing anxiety, clarifying personal purpose, and providing students with the skills they need to thrive academically and beyond.
We will equip students with emotional tools, leadership development strategies, and practical career readiness skills while emphasizing the truth: You are not defined by an acceptance or rejection letter.
