Over the past year, we’ve continued to plant seeds of self-worth, emotional intelligence, and leadership in young women who are learning to redefine their stories. This evening is where we come together — our board, alumni, community, and supporters — to celebrate those victories and fuel what’s next.
We’re celebrating more than our wins — we’re stepping into our next level. Our “By This Time Next Year: Road to a Million Dollars” is our bold new campaign to raise $1 million as we grow into the million-dollar organization we deserve to be — one that continues transforming the lives of young women through purpose, confidence, and opportunity.
We’re kicking off our campaign with a goal to raise $10,000 at Cupcakes & Champagne—setting the stage for our $1 million vision.

Funds raised at this year’s celebration directly power all of our signature programs, including:
🌟 The Embrace Her Legacy Academy: NYC Summer Institute – our flagship personal and professional development experience for young women ages 14–21 from under-resourced communities across New York City. This intensive summer program equips young women through workshops, mentorship, field trips, and experiential learning, participants strengthen communication, confidence, problem-solving, and purpose-driven goal setting — building both the self-awareness and professional foundation needed for lifelong success.
🎓 EHL Academy: College & Career Readiness Advisory Program – extending our mission into high schools through a semester- or year-long program designed for upperclasswomen. At a time when 83% of Gen Z teens identify school and college admissions as major stressors, this program provides an intentional space for young women to cultivate self-worth, emotional wellness, and practical career readiness skills. With the empowering message, “You are not defined by an acceptance or rejection letter,” students learn to approach their futures with confidence and clarity through 12-week or year-long interactive sessions that blend emotional intelligence, leadership, and life skills development.
🎓 EHL College Scholarship Program – graduates of both the NYC Summer Institute and the Advisory Program are eligible for Embrace Her Legacy College Scholarships of $2,500 or more, helping eliminate financial barriers to higher education
💫 MastHERclass LIVE Workshops – our goal is to serve 500 young women in our community through these transformational confidence and leadership-building experiences designed to help them rise in every area of life.
And because we’re becoming the million-dollar organization we deserve to be, we’re expanding our impact beyond our signature programs. Through our By This Time Next Year campaign, we’re also funding career development and entrepreneurial growth, enabling our young women to pursue professional certifications, internships, and start-up ventures aligned with their dreams.
